Scaffold tube, also called scaffolding tube, is the main component of the scaffolding construction system. Scaffolding tube are widely used as a temporary structure to help workers craw and repair building in height. Also scaffolding tubes are frequently be used in formwork and shoring system. The foundational strength of these components dictates the safety of the entire site. The outside diameter is 48.3mm with thickness 3.2 or 4.0mm. There are different grade of scaffolding tube, such as S235, S355. Usually the surface is hot dipped galvanized with zinc coating above 210g/m2, which offers long term corrosion resistance, presenting a slightly textured, crystalline metallic finish that stands up to severe weather conditions.

Conforming to BS EN 10219-1, the high tensile scaffold tubes has OD 48.3mm and thickness 3.2mm. This specific dimensional profile strikes an optimal balance, delivering exceptional load-bearing capabilities while remaining manageable for site crews to maneuver during complex structural assemblies.

The hot dipped galvanized surface has long life and high performance. 2. Production Process

3. Packing and Loading

Proper logistics and handling are critical to maintaining the physical integrity of the materials during transit. The tubes are systematically bundled into tight, hexagonal configurations and secured with heavy-duty steel strapping. This specific arrangement prevents shifting and internal friction during maritime transport. When lifted by overhead cranes, the dense bundles produce a solid, metallic clink, indicative of their secure packing.
